One of the things I'm proudest of in my last decade in NYC has been my time as a Teaching Artist with Epic Theatre Ensemble. My epic students will forever hold a dear place in my heart. I've worked with Epic since 2013, and have worked on over ten student productions between the Harlem and Bronx campuses (Urban Assembly and BSWCA) as fight and dance choreographer, assistant director, and acting mentor. I've taught workshops for the EPIC NEXT Summer Program. I performed as Tyreseus multiple times in the company's adaptation of Antigone, which I've gotten to teach in the classroom as well, and have performed in Human Rights plays and monologues written by our students. One of the things I missed this year was attending the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. For 5 years I was an invited guest artist at the festival, and had the pleasure of directing 4 original plays, teaching workshops on writing and scene study, and writing short pieces for the One Minute Play Festival.

I'm honored to have been given a place as an international student, and to be pursuing my great passion for making films, and to reconnect with Europe as an artist! In the next two years, I will make a number of short films with my classmates, and a thesis film of my own. Current honorary Associates are the incredible Kasi Lemmons and Marie Jean Baptiste. Recent graduates include The End of The F***** World creator Jonathan Entwistle, and heroes of mine like Mike Leigh teach Master Classes. I'll post more about this journey as it progresses!
