Photos/Highlights from my recent trip to The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for my 4th year as a guest artist.
I just returned from my 4th year as being a guest artist at KCACTF Region 1, which took place in Hyannis, Massachussets. It's always an incredible amount of work, but also incredibly fulfilling. I directed a concert reading of a delightful full length play by John Nordt called "Night #3" (and one of my actors won for Best Performance!), I taught two workshops, and wrote 5 plays for the One Minute Play Festival. I'm tired just writing about it! Check out some of the fotos below. Thanks for The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for continuing to bring me back.
From wh auden's September 1, 1939:
"Defenceless under the night /Our world in stupor lies; /Yet, dotted everywhere, /Ironic points of light /Flash out wherever the Just /Exchange their messages: May I, composed like them /Of Eros and of dust,/ Beleaguered by the same /Negation and despair/, Show an affirming flame."
