Over the last year and a half, I've written around 13 songs that I've performed as Pier Valentino, and I thought I'd start making recordings available as we begin the new year. These are all songs that I've recorded with my limited, self-taught knowledge of Garage Band and music theory in general, as well as with not so great equipment. And the songs themselves are a first effort at me learning how one goes about writing and recording a song. I'll add more soon, and also replace these eventually with better versions, and better songs. But please check them out, and maybe there'll be a couple that you'll enjoy, or that at least will make you laugh.

From wh auden's September 1, 1939:
"Defenceless under the night /Our world in stupor lies; /Yet, dotted everywhere, /Ironic points of light /Flash out wherever the Just /Exchange their messages: May I, composed like them /Of Eros and of dust,/ Beleaguered by the same /Negation and despair/, Show an affirming flame." Archives
